I'll be teaching a two day seminar in Tipp City, OH just before the Dayton show. I hope to meet those of you from the list that will be at the show. I would imagine that I'll be introduced to everyone at the Saturday evening banquet. I will be doing a demonstration on Saturday on roughing out a whimsical house from cottonwood bark. I will also have a display of some of my latest carvings which are done completely in-the-round. Stop by and say hello or catch me at the banquet.

Looking forward to seeing you again Rick. I was at the Sauder Show this last weekend and we missed you not being there. I was lucky enough to get the Sauder Specialy award from Wayne Barton this year.

OK! it seems that there are quite a few going to the Dayton Show. This will be my third year. And I hope it won't be another year that I return home without meeting some of you. There has got to be a way where we can see and know who's who. Any ideas, short of magic marker names on our foreheads??

If Fox Chapel has a booth ask them if they would put out a sign up sheet with names and table numbers or ask to make a general announcement for members to meet at a particular location at the show? Just a thought.

My husband and I finally get to attend this year. We can only attend one day, Saturday, but are very happy about it. We have been wanting to go for a couple of years but it just never worked out.

So this year we decided to put our foot down that we were going. Instead of buying each other anything for our anniversary we decided going to the show would be our anniversary present to each other even if we could only go one day. huh?!

We are also looking forward to meeting as many of you as we can. If we miss you at the show Bark Boy, Rick, we will be seeing you after. You are giving a seminar at our club after the Dayton show. So we will at least get to meet you. Well I wish everyone safe travel.

Till next time....

Blessings,
Tina and Randy

Well, I missed the bus!

Some of the guys that are in our club are on the way this morning, but I had to back out due to work (again!). Hopefully they'll bring back some good stories.

Hi Everyone,

Well didn,t get to meet any of you that I know of but did meet a lot of great people. I got to meet Rick Jensen, Linda Sales and the Stenmans. Saw a lot of fantastic work. That was my first time there it is an awesome show and we had a great time. Got a bunch of goodies to keep me busy for the winter. I'll hibernate with my carving and woodburning goodies on these cold winter days and nights that I'm sure are on there way sooner than we would like. LOL What did you all think of it? Did anyone else take home a bunch of goodies? I hope we get to make it an annual event for us from now on.

Blessings,
Tina

I had a table there Tina, it had the big cross with the wooden linen on it and the chip carved picture frame with a quote in it.

This was my second year there with a table and it amazes me how people walk by tables and their eyes shine like a kid in a candy store. Getting ideas and really sparking that fire in them to go carve. I myself had to stock-up on supplies for this winter. It's nice to see what you are getting in person instead of looking at a catalog.
