| | Re: Ron Davidson Update Garry I lost one eye in 1974 due to a truck tire blowing up in my face. It was one of those wonderful split rims that hit me in the left temple. It knocked my right eye out and damaged my left 70%. I also suffered from eye disease's called Uveitis and Irietis since I was 14. They slowly worked away at my optic nerve's and destroy's my preipheral vision until I was left with tunnel vision. Each time I had a case of the Uveitis flare up I would loose some vision. You never would know when it was comming usually I would wake up and I would not be able to see. It was about 4 years ago I had a bad flare up and never recovered any sight back. It is caused by the pressure like Glaucoma which I now also have. My pupil hasn't worked for 2 years so there is no way to control the amount of light to the retina which they think caused the bleeding. I hope this hasn't bored everyone but that's about the short version. Thanks everyone for their thoughts. Now I going to go carve. Ron |

Do smilies get read out to you such as "big grin", or does your reader just report some oddball punctuation? |

| | Re: Ron Davidson Update I worked in a station that repaired tires and at 75 cents and hour beating on those split rims, well it just wan't worth it. I know several men who lost an eye to those spilt rims.
Anyways, God's blessings and hang in there my friend. there are a lot of people praying and pulling for you. |

| | Re: Ron Davidson Update Ron, SO glad to hear that you may re-gain your eyesight.
I guess Monday was the day for the Doctor's. Clayton had to go in for a "Ekco" (ekg) as per the protocall for his type of cancer. They did a EKG every 3 months then 6 and now we are on a 1 year schedule and this will follow for the next 5 years. They tell us that a couple of his chemo drugs cause heart damage, so they check to see if it has. So far, so good.
