| | Ron Davidson! Wow, Ron!
I just got my advanced copies of the latest Wood Carving Illustrated magazine, Holiday Issue 2007, Issue 41, and I must say I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished.
Ron, you are truly an inspiration for everyone who has the privilege to meet you.
Thank you for everything you do here on the message board and for your friendship.

| | Re: Ron Davidson! Thank you so much Susan. It is the help from you and Garry and many others that help give me the drive to do what I do. I still try and remember all the advice you gave me when we met in Sept that is a weekend I will never forget. Bob D did an excellant job on the article. Thank you very much Bob so far the whole issue is packed full of great things as usual. Hope everyone gets theirs soon.
It took Garry a little while to figure out who that bald guy was though!!

Finally got to read the article. You truly are an inspiration to many people. Keep up the good work, and not just the carving.

You are truely one of a kind, and inspiration to us all. I think of you whenever I am looking for an excuse to wimp out on something.
Even my wife has thought I was full of beans when I told her about you and your carving. You should have seen her face when I showed her the article and your work.
We are all pulling and praying for you, a good man.

| | Re: Ron Davidson! Ron, I just got around to opening the recent issue of WCI. Glanced over the contents and went to the article about you and your carving career. The work you are doing and your willingness to "find a way" is incredible. It goes far beyond being inspirational.
The next time I hear someone complaining about the difficult of carving _______(insert whatever, eyes, hands, beaks, claws), I am going to say, "let me tell you about a guy named Ron Davidson........ now there is a carver".
Keep on carving My Frien' 'cause there are a lot of us out here pulling for you. |

| | Re: Ron Davidson! At last nights Great Plains Wood Carvers Club meeting we congratulated our two members that made it in this issue of Woodcarving Illustrated. Ron Davidson and Randy Landen. Wichita Kansas has made the big time with two fine homeboy carvers. Good articles on both of them.
Thanks WCI

| | Re: Ron Davidson! Pony express has not made it to Canada yet I cant wait to read the article. Then again I had the pleasure of spending an entire weekend with Ron and Garry and partly with Susan. He is an inspiration I never once did I have to do a single thing for him, except tell him where on his plate his eggs, grits, sausages etc were located LOL. When he asked me to teach him to chainsaw carve that was really something. Garry and I were nervous but Ron wasent the least bit phased by it. I have seen his work up close and it is every bit as good in real life. I dont know how he does it. Garry has promised to send me a copy of WCI and am positive that it will arrive here weeks before mine does I cant wait to read the article. Well deserved Ron, Garry and Susan you are all #1 in my books
