Nancy ... Get out your Crock Pot! Dice a roast, potatos, onions very small. Add a couple of cups of water, throw in some Dry Onion Soup and let cook on low all day long. By evening the roast will not require any type of chewing at all!

opps! How about potato soup.

Peel and boil the potatos, onions and celery salt in lots of water. Boil until very soft. Pour off the water. Pour in the whole milk and a generous patty of butter. Continue heating the soup until the butter melts but the milk does not boil.

Enjoy! This is our household's "I can't keep anything down and am starving to death" dinner. Lots of solid calories and no chewing ...

Great ideas everyone! Thanks Tonight I'm trying Nancy's baked potato with cheese, a side of finely broken up ground beef.

For the weekend I am going to do Bob's Stuffed Cabbage and Tarik's Humitas and other Bob's pie. Then I'll invite my brother-in-law and wife over Tell'um it's a smorgashborg (sp???). Spegetti tomorrow night. THEN . . .I'll be making Susan's Crock Pot meal for in between. Now I feel like cookin.

i love nuts but cant chew em well enough to eat them, thus a jar of creamy jif with a plastic spoon in it, suffices a fast snack as i keep a small plastic jar close to my bench, my grand children love peanut butter suckers,
(a spoon of peanutbutter) keeps them quiet for 5 or so minuets...

other than that my cooking abilitys tend to be popcorn, and making coffee, and an occasional hungry man frozen meat loaf dinner,

oh and tuna sandwich's...

sorri i couldnt be of much help, but you got to agree there all ezzzz.... to make

Nancy,how about chicken enchaladas.
1 can of refried beans
1 can of chili beans
diced up chicken breast
bell peppers and onions
Fri up chicken breast first then onions and peppers.when done mix with refries and chilli beans.Roll up into burito form. Also need 2 cans of green enchalada sauce.Pour one can of green sauce in glass pan, lay in enchladas, pour in tother can of sauce. Shread cheese over until all covered and top off with cilantro. This is not a mexican recipe and don't take credit for it but is good.Oh,bake slowlyso as no burn cheese but heat inside, about 325 for 20 minutes.

Dave, I feel we are soul buddys. You understand the feeling! Ain't those stitches a witch. I finally started yanking them out with tweezers. NOW comes the real dooms day, tomorrow. The bottoms come out. Then in a week I have the roof of my mouth chisled out. Oh the pain So looks like an even worse diet for some time to come. I wanna a steak, pork chop, peanut brittle AND Ash's recipe Gotta admit I enjoy seeing those pounds roll off though I'm thinking of going to visit Lori about August so I should be skinny again and have new choppers .
