Default R.I.P. Cheetah!

Who would of thunk it?!!!!
Figured he kicked off decades ago!
My sis and I and the two neighbor boys growing up used to have loads of fun playing Tarzan and Cheetah, nobody wanted to be Jane, in the trees on our dirt road!
Guess old Cheetah liked to fling poop!
Thanks for the memories Cheetah!

Hi Sharon,
Kinda surprised me too when I read the article about him dying, thought he would have been gone long ago. He won't be slingin' poop anymore.

From what the article said he was pretty accurate when he flung the dung. Guess you had to be his buddy to keep from getting flung at.

I remember watching these movies as a kid. Sure would not have thought that Cheetah was still around. Thanks for the link.

Saw that on Yahoo this a.m. I was surprised he had lived that long too. ..outlived all the human stars. Sounds like he had a good life.

and i always thought cheetah was a girl chimpanzee. that's how they translated the movies to spanish though. see in spanish characters must have a he or a she, and they always referred to cheetah as a she. or i think they did...

It blew me away that Cheetah lived that long, because the old movies were made when my folks were little kids!
It's probably good that my sister and the neighbor boys and I didn't know about the dung slinging! We were bad enough throwing dry cow patties for grenades at each other playing combat!
I always thought Cheetah was a girl too!

Sad to hear but a good age.
On a side note i have tried in vain to find the opening sequence to the old Tarzan films as the way i remember it the current world population of elephants (well a lot anyway) seems to pass before the camera? Superb wildlife footage showing vast numbers or endangered species.
Anyone got some to post?
