Hi everyone,
I really don't have a problem with regular members mentioning that they have an extra chisel or some wood for sale. I don't even mind people saying check out the tools I put up on Ebay.

I'm against people selling their carvings throught this board, though.

A tool, some wood...we can all use that. But if a person joins JUST to post that they have something for sale, then I will remove that (which is what Colin did over the weekend).

Absolutely. A lot of mesage boards get people who join up just to try to sell stuff, and if your primary aim in joining a board is to sell stuff, then please get out of my face.

In my earlier reply, I was aiming at a thread where a carver who is not sure what he should charge for a carving could get some advice from other carvers as to what a particular piece may be worth. Anything more than that should be carried on out of sight of other members.
