| | Re: Prayer needed for carver6 Thank you Kenny, for passing on the news. Please tell him we are thinking about him and pray for a complete recovery. Carving is great motivation for recovery and perfect therapy, so I'm sure he'll come along just fine once he gets back in the carving saddle.

| | Re: Prayer needed for carver6 Your prayers and good wishes are much appreciated. In situations like this ANY help or good words are appreciated. I had never considered what a loss it would be to lose the use of your dominate hand. What a bummer. It's like cutting it off or at least it seems so. Thankfully the Dr.s say it won't be permanent with therapy.
Again, thank you ever so much for the prayers and kind thoughts and Thanks to Kenny_S for being the good friend he is. He is hard to beat.
See ya!!!

| | Re: Prayer needed for carver6 Garon,
My father had a similar problem (he's had two minor strokes and a major one). He's back woodworking in his shop. He had to make some technique changes, since the strokes affected his eyes a bit.
THe best advice i can give is to do EVERY exercise they show you...they really do help!
Thoughts and prayers heading your way!!!
