| | To the Powers that be (the moderators) I haven't been on here very long but have a question to ask. I see SENIOR MEMBERS) (ain't nobody more senior than me), I see members and then there's just plain old me "tucker". I thought I was a member being as I always sign in and everything. Why and what, is the class distinction? Now don't go gettin all upset, I think it's an honest question.
Thanks
just plain Tucker |

| | Re: To the Powers that be (the moderators) Hi Tucker,
That is a good question!
Members, senior members, etc. is the default "User Title"...so when you are signing up, if you don't add anything to the User Title section, you'll start out as a member, but after you make a certian number of posts, you become a senior member.
But I just checked out your account, and you must have entered "tucker" as your user title when you signed up...that's why it says Tucker under your name. You can change it to anything you want (within reason).

| | Re: To the Powers that be (the moderators) The green dot means that they are "visible"; the red dot means they are "invisible"
If you are visible, everyone can see that you are on the site down at the bottom of the main screen; if you are invisible, only mods and admins can see that you are online.

| | Re: To the Powers that be (the moderators) Both (Green dot and "senior member") are good questions and I remember them being asked before. It's not bad to ask when you don't know, but I'm gonna use the opportunity to remind new members to try the "Search" function occasionally. You may get a lot of non-appropriate links, but you will be able to find if your question has been asked before (see link below): new to forums
Also, don't forget the FAQ sections. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
