Default post&Beam or Timber Framing

I'm interested in building a shed on my property but not spending the time and money to join one of the fabulous classes I've found out there. Anyone do this type of wood work? Can you suggest a simple book... and Beam for dummies... etc.. Thanks.

You're in the wrong forum for that sort of question... Try here: DIY Network - Home Improvement How-To & Projects : DIY Network and enter "workshop" in the search field at the top of the page. You can also go to Google and do a search there. I found this via Google:
How to Build a Great Home Workshop
