Does anyone remember when cable started making it's way into our homes and the gist of the sales pitch for buying into it was that it would be free of advertiseing? I guess that went the same route as a $0.10 phone call and $1.00 a gallon for gas.

I was getting tired of the commercials... tired of seeing that horse taking a bite out of the doghouse EVERY commercial break. Verison commercial I think it was.

I too wait until the DVD comes out.. much easier.

te vo is the thing.....record..... save....pause....fast forward...record a complete series without being there.......see whats playing tomorrow or next week by using guide..... put in a name of a program that going to play in two weeks and it records it.....etc. ha ha ha ha I got one. lol .....only thing my finger gets tired pushing buttons. .,...lol
