Nedra,
I drove around Flagstaff today and I think they are all up here, in the high country, trying to cool off and enjoy our road construction. LOL. Looks like another hot one in the valley of the sun.
I know that there are some carvers down there; hopefully you will find someone with good AC and cool beverages.
Have a great weekend trip.
Jim

Re: Phoenix for the weekend
I'm not thrilled about being in Phoenix this time of year BUT we will have to endure. I'm hoping that LaQuinta has paid it's electric bill and their AC works!

Re: Phoenix for the weekend
Believe me if I see a swamp cooler I'll find some place else to camp out! I still can't believe we are going in the hottest month of the year, but what can you do. Thank god it's only for 3 days! When I get back to NM I will think that 97 degrees is a cold snap!

Re: Phoenix for the weekend
Well, I can't say that living close to Arizona had anything to do with us returning to New Mexico!!!! It was more like wanting to be closer to the beautiful Sandia mountains and all that green chili!
