Default Pat Sajak A Whittler?

As is our usual custom each evening my wife and I were watching "Wheel Of Fortune" (I'm sure that it was a rerun) and during Pat Sajak's guest interview segment he asked a young lady what she did for fun. After mentioning that she was a stay at home mom, a part time private trainer, and did acting as a hobby, Pat commented back that everyone needs a hobby and that his was "Whittling!"

I checked his website and there is no mention of his hobbies but wouldn't that be great, Mr. "Good Morning Vietnam" (a predecessor of Adrian Kroner) himself , a whittler!

If true, wouldn't it make a great special interest story for WCI?

Gene... I doubt it! But I'll bet he doesn't have to worry about a budget when buying his carving tools!... not after 25-years of Wheel Of Fortune.

I wonder if Vanna ever does any whittling!

I doubt it .. her hands look to delicate and soft to be a whittler .. But then again .. Pat certainly surprised us ..

I was watching Wheel of Fortune this evening and low and behold, Pat Sajak apologized for the comment that he made to Vanna White on a previous show about going home and doing some whittling. I guess someone on the WCI staff must have picked up on it and contacted Sajak inquring about his whittling hobby. Too bad, he was only pulling our leg! But, on the up side WCI got an honorable mention so I guess not all is bad!

I wonder if WCI happened to ask Vanna is she whittles?

Wow.. interesting! I do know that Vanna's hobby is knitting or crocheting afghans that she donates. I think she even has a pattern book out.
