Default "For Our Veterans"

"We'll Meet Again"

We'll meet again far from this hollowed ground in
a place apart from where out boots were found,Below the sunsets painted stones where the brass bugles blow, sentries row by row.

We'll meet again beyond this sacred sod where lie theses brave who fought the final fight against wars onslaught on thier transient light.

As Gods so wills, outside our eathly bound,we'll meet again.

Forrest, thanks for the poem. Beautiful..... moving..... and what many think, but don't put quite so eloquently. My hat is off to all the vets!

Thanks Forrest and Big Semper Fi to all of our present warriors and to all of my
fellow warriors of the past and let us never forget those Great Warriors that
bravely gave up their lives so that we can enjoy Freedom.

Excellent tribute to those who gave their all without being asked to do so. Memorial Day doesn't come around often enough to remind us all of those who died that we may have our freedom. Thank you, my friend.

Forrest, we must all do everything we can to keep the vets in our hearts and to remind our young folks to do the same. When I was the Camp Director at our local Scout Camp, I asked each of our staff members to find the name of some KIA or MIA from any war we have engaged in, find out as much about that person, and keep them in their thoughts, always, lest none be forgotten.

Thanks for your poem...it's important!

Al
