Default Ouch Ouch

Hi
I hope everbody is having a great holiday.Let me tell about my day.I was carving a little guy.I was parting his feet when the knife came loose the blade hit my left hand in between my little finger and the ring finger cutting to the bone and then across the palm.Yes it was a bad cut then i noticed that i couldn't move my little finger.Well a trip to the hospital!!!Thay said i had cut the tendon that moves my little finger. So in the morning i have to drive 4 hrs. to a hand surgen to get it fixed or at least let him check it and then tell me when he can fix it.Please wear your glove because it can happen to you.
P.S. Does anybody want to buy the little guy he will be $3000 dollars. That was the approx.sum thay gave me to fix the finger Ha. Ha .Ouch Ouch!!!
Vic.

Wowzers OUCH! Thanks so much for sharing the reminder Windsong. Sorry you have to go through this. I tend to be a little lazy about getting the glove out and on. Just this last weekend I caught myself working on a woodspirit stick with no glove when the blade slipped and I nicked myself. I seem to get absorbed on what I am doing and forget to stay congnizant of where the edge will go if it slips. Yikes!

Hope you heal fully and soon. Try trading that little carving on ebay for something better, then trading that for something better, until you have something worth $3000 to sell. Worked for some guy I read about awhile back who started with a paper clip and after a year of trading has a small house!!! At least it'll give you something to do while you heal. ;-)

!
