Well isnt it funny I always kid about Canada having 8 months of winter and 4 months of bad snowboarding. That is not true this year and really hasent been for the past few years. I have only blown my driveway twice all winter used to be every day. there are robins in the birch tree pathes of grass here and there and I notice that the wild turkeys are really fat this year. Well I am enjoying it as long as it lasts sorry to hear about all you folks that are snowed in. Seemed here in Canada when we had bad winters the birth rate rose considerably maybe that will be the same for the south this year.
Take care everyone and dont shovel if you are not used to it good way to give yourself a heart attack.

For the first time in years we had 16 inches of snow, everyone, including the highway and city services where completely caught of-guard. Funny how an entire country slides to it's knees, and seeing the absolute carnage at the shopping malls parking lot.

At work we to didn't had a snow plow, so I made one out of thick beams and a steel plate for our tractor.

That was 4 weeks back, and now I am sick of it lol... Fun's over, I want spring..now.

Between the Friday/Saturday storm (2/5 - 2/6) and the Tuesday Wednesday blizzard (2/9 - 2/10), we got a total of 54 inches of snow here in Morgan County West Virginia. I was stuck at work from February 4 - February 13. Total of 10 days, worked double shifts most of those days. I had to leave my truck at work, and the park superintendent brought me home last night.
