Default I now know Jack!

I wanted to let you all know that I got to meet Keoma today. She's a genuine Sweetheart! I drove from my home and over the hill today to go to the fair in her town. The drive was great, I had my music cranked up, Travis Tritt, then Talking Heads. The road is through redwood, madrone and oak forests. theres ferns all over. It's a beautiful drive that I haven't made in a few years. I got to her town and stopped at the gas station to get directions. Found the park and went in. I reconized her right off the bat.I introduced myself and she gave me a great big hug once she realized who I was. She was really busy with the raffle table and also her own booth, but found time to talk with me and kind of show me around. Her booth was very lovely and I got to meet her creations, Jack and her other dolls and her neat purses, necklaces and hair ornaments. They are even neater in person! the pictures she has posted of her art are great, but to see them in real life, well they are truely amazing. Her son even made some really cool hair sticks.Keoma even bought me lunch! She gave me her bluebird hair sticks that she carved, which I will treasure always. I got to meet her folks and inlaws and kids and her handsome husband, what a really nice family. They all made me feel so welcome and at home.Keoma had biscotti she baked, she even sent some home for my husband. He was lucky to get some because it was awesome! It went great with my coffee on the way home...Keoma, thankyou, you are the real deal! Folks, she is genuinely a very sweet nice young lady. I am so glad to have gotten to meet you today. You are a bright shining star in this world! Thankyou my friend!

Hi Sharon, that's such a wonderful testimonial to a wonderful person. It's so easy to chat with people here on the board and over time get to know them. We can get so close we forget we've never met them face-to-face.

I'm glad you had a chance to meet Keoma. She's such an awesome lady, artist and carver.

I am often reminded that where ever you go woodcarvers are some of the most kind and friendly people you will ever meet.

Your post was a wonderful surprise! I can tell you I cried more at that than with my owee You made my day today, just like you did yesterday.
Yesterday was such a fun day for me- you were such a welcome sight! I had my head full of numbers and names completely in a fog. You introduced yourself and as soon as the fog cleared I thought "oh My Gaaaawd!" Its not just Sharon...it's MY SHARON!!!!
My family loved visiting you and passing an afternoon in your company. My folks, both sets, told me what a great gal you were. Could not think of a better person to enjoy a sunny day with.
You wear your heart on your sleeve and your love of life shows in your warm eyes and your welcoming smile.
My only regret is that I could not spend more time with you. We will definately get together again and soon. You are a bright, positive ,real and earthy light in my life! Thank you so much for you! I am so happy to know you and call you my friend! Coffee's always on, conversations always ready! I spun in my yard this morning thinking of you...oak potato chips blowing everywhere!

It was a beautiful day! I can't tell you how nice it was to meet another woman with as much love for life as I have. Your all right, there is nothing like a woodcarver, for real and for true the nicest folks around!

It was fantastic! I woke up with a big smile on my face this morning. We will get together soon! If the rest of you get a chance to meet friends from here, do it! Maybe more of us can meet someday. Now I know how thrilled Chuck and Mark probably were to meet. I never dreamed what nice people I would meet here.
