Default Not an easy job

I recently purchased a Clearview cyclonic dust collection system. I looks like a great dust collector but boy oh boy.... What a project.

I finally have the wiring job done and am now assembling the cyclonic unit. Hopefully after a few more hours I will be ready to start on the plumbing. I need to run tubing to my band saw, table saw, drill, router, planer and copy carver.... Perhaps in another 30 hours or so I can get back to carving Hammer

Ok, Ok.... I can tell I am not going to get any sympathy from you guys Talking

But, it really was a whole lot more than I bargained for. Stretching my skill set just a wee bit.

Stretching your skill set is good for you, stretching you muscles until something pops not. I have looked at getting a Clearview but in my mind I don't cut enough to cost justify the purchase. My woodwork shop is out in a shed with all kinds of air infiltration and I always wear a dust mask and have a shop vac going when I cut. The big part is if I fire up the table saw once a month that is it and the band saw a few times a month thats all. If my shop was in the basement I would have one in a heartbeat because then I would be breathing the finds all the time. I enjoy reading about the research that Bill Pentz did on the Cyclone style dust collector that Clearview builds. Good luck on your install.

I saw those, good prices too, let us know how it all works out, if I remember right, they are more powerful too than the store bought kits. He better hope it sucks Al, would be a very time consuming speaking tube
