I like it, I will be following your blog I carved my first pine lovespoon for my wife for valentines and it was pretty primitive

Aulddiy, my Scots brother, you already got it just by reading the blog!!

Uvawyo, primitive or not, I'll bet she loved it! My advice, move to poplar. It's almost as easy to carve as basswood, and you can find pieces with nice figure in the wood.

Hey Bob what is a blog I have heard all around blog this blog that never asked and haven't bothered to google it. My newest video I saw a Poplar crook, that one will be the same blank for the carving videos.
