Default Re: Never Ask Anyone Over 75 "How you doin'?"!

If you really want to floor them... try responding with "No thank you, I just had a bar of soap!" An old electrican that I use to work with gave that reply for everything and no one never could come up with a response!

I sure don't want to hijack this thread, but maybe a slight twist won't hurt.
In preparation for my annual physical my doctor asks me to write down any and all changes in your self (body and mind is guess) that have occurred during the past several years. Anyone ever have to do this? Anyone ever been asked to do this by their doctor? This excerise could get real interesting. How does one know what to include? What's just a symptom of old age? What might be important/critical? Then there is always the thought in the back of ones mind.."is my doctor getting ready to purchase a vacation home or a boat; and is merely lining up his payment method"? This list could get extensive if one is a little honest (along with being old)...Tom H
