Hi All: On Saturday October 22nd I went to my first Wood Bee Carver's club meeting in Prescott, Arizona. Who should be there but 'Dave Hi_Ho_Sliver' and his lovely wife 'Karen'. What a treat to get to meet them both in person. After the meeting/workshop Dave, Karen and I spent sometime out in the parking lot chatting. Dave even stropped my new bench knife for me! What a guy! Thank you to WCI for their wonderful website I have two more new friends. Kathy
It is really nice to meet people in person, we have met 5 carvers and their spouses (except one that was traveling with his Dad).........oops, haven't met Kathy's husband yet, but we will!
