| | More Pictures of Open House Hi Gang,
Well I finally made it back to Canada in one piece after what seemed like a million miles of driving. One thing I can say for sure I have seen a lot of PA and NY in this trip. My trip started out with lunch with Coffeeman in NY. We had a great talk and I made a new friend for sure. Then it was on to vist Deborah. This was the second time I had been to her place but this time got to stay for a while and had a great visit with her and her hubby Ben. Thanks guys for the hospitality and all the wonderful food. If you think Deb can carve you should taste her cooking. Open house was a blast and we never stopped laughing from the time we got there until we left. It was good to meet all the members from this board and share ideas and stories. Also to meet all the great people from Fox Chapel who treated us to a magnificent show again thanks to all of you. I know this has been beat to death and I am probably posting pictures that you have seen before but here goes anyway.

| | Re: More Pictures of Open House Before I post the last of the pictures I was almost finished and the only thing I had sold was a gentleman commissioned me to carve a pumpkin. Then Tony purchased one of my carvings to make me feel better. |

Thanks for sharing the pictures, and the story, it sounds like you had a wonderful time. You certainly did some great carving while there. Did you get all of the pumpkin out of the saw yet? Really Colin.....a chain saw on a pumpkin, a bit over kill!!?? But then you County Mountie's always were up to a challenge!

| | Re: More Pictures of Open House Colin, glad to hear you made it back home safe and sound!! You should have eaten more of the pumpkin cake, way too much left over and I'm sorry to say, we ate every crumb of it....waddle, waddle, waddle!!
Come back anytime, we thoroughly enjoyed your visit!! Deborah
P.S. Oh yes, I forgot, Bob, Maggie Rose is our little Maltese puppy, she thought Colin came especially to see her!!
P.P.S. I'm still jealous I couldn't be at Open House! ![001[1]3424](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/001[1]3424.gif) |
