Now Hugh, you have to post the recipe! These cookies look good enough to eat. Be detailed in your posting of the recipe...oven temp, etc. Dick

Hugh,
That's a very realistic carving! Lots of fiber. Good paint job.

Actually, I'm impressed that you use parchment paper under your cookies--and you like/eat your own baked goods. Thanks for the emails and I'll watch for cookies in the next one.

I've a sister that gives me recipes, and tells me how, :~). But I don't mind taking the credit. The cookies and a pie once in awhile keeps me busy in the evenings. Cheers

Well I gotta bragg a bit here 'cause I've actually eaten Hughe's cookies (or at least he told me he cooked 'em ) and they are even better than they look on here !
Last fall my wife and I had the pleasure to drop in on Hughe on our way to one of the blackpowder shoots that I attend every year. He had just taken a pan of cookies out of the oven and together with a piece of cheese and a nice cup of tea they just can't be beat.
So there all my fellow wood carvers ............eat your heart out......

Hugh, you are a "class act",all in a world of your own, making "cookie addicts" like me
all over the world get a "dire' urge for cookies. It's a good thing you "copped out" that
your sister gave you the recipe,so it's only right that you share the recipe.
Happy cookie eat

Proper etiquette in the non-existant [FF] (Food Forum) in the Banjo Hang Out is to swap recipes, one goodie for another. It has worked well for years as I have done the same with friends who are professional chefs.
Might you trade for Curried Pecans? Or a Greek Seasoning mix with mint & cinnamon?
