Default May be posting for a while...

as I won't be carving for a couple of months. I have been putting off shoulder surgery for about a year now. Was able to talk the surgeon to wait until after Christmas and I was able to fill most of my Santa orders. They are going in arthroscopic and will decide then if they will have to lay it open. 3 month versus 6 months recovery. Maybe carving will be considered therapy. Won't know until Tuesday.

Goody, I've had both shoulders done (rotator cuff) and though it was uncomfortable, it was not bad at all. Second time around they figured out the post op pain management and it went a whole lot better. Both times I was back pretty mobile in 90 days and fully functional in 6 months. Just be careful you don't trip or slip and fall....screwed up the second surgery that way and it will take some more time to work through that.

Good luck, believe me, it's worth it! And here's to a speedy rtecovery for you!

Al

Best of luck with your surgery Goody. You'll have your JoolTool to keep you company though, so when you can get back to it your tools should be primed and ready!!! ;-)

Cheers!

Goody, add my name to the list of well wishes too! I hope they can do the less invasive surgery! Whatever it is, take care and follow the doctors orders, you'll be better than new before you know it! Good luck! Deborah
