Default How many feel the same?

I don't know if it's me or what but how many go through this every day. But I think it is a good question. Check out photo.

Both Ros hit the nail on the head.
We Americans did not ask those people to come here, they came of their own free will. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, speak English hombres or get no service.
Now I know many Chicos and chicas but they speak english and proud to be Americans when they take their oath. KNow a few Muslums also and they aren't the radical hate terrorist type either, They speak English.
However, They wonder why Americans don't speak correct English.Smile

Well, we are Americans and Not English

Well, of course you'd be speaking American, an offshoot of English much as Cockney is.

As to who was here first, I think you might get some arguement from various 1st nations groups.

Ron, I hear you. The default ought to be english. Menu choice should come out as "For service not in english, press 1"

I guess I have become more tolerant over time as it does not bother me other than to say I can't speak a second language (sure wish I could speak Italian)...

For me, it isn't so much a question of tolerance as it is one of time and/or convenience. Bad enough I have to deal with a voice messaging system instead of a live person.

I agree with Whitecree. I want a live person on the other end. And would prefer it if they spoke a reasonable version of english. Hey, I'd even be happy to press#1 to get it but so often its no longer an option.
