| | How Low will people go! As many of you know I have been trying to raise money for the guide dog school. I belong to a establishment in my neighborhood and they were kind enough to set up a collection and the girls at the reception desk were selling raffle tickets. They were doing pretty good and had one person came in and bought 100.00 in tickets. I was down Monday to pick up and deposit it to the school account but they didn't have it ready. But today I went in and they told me that over the weekend the whole thing dissapeared except for the unsold tickets. They were hoping it would turn up but it didn't. It just amazes me as how low people will stoop or crawl to steal from a charity. The poor girls feel horrible and its not their fault. The school allowed me to reissue new tickets to the ones that bought them but the money is still gone. I think they will make up for the loss but it's the principal of the thing. I would like to get my hands on the low life scum sucking dirt bag. (And believe me I 'm being nice)

Call it wishful thinking, but I'm still hopeful the money will show up under a stack of papers or something!

Sorry to here about your misfortune.
The whole world is full of these type of people and Daddio is right, they will be judged in the end.
These types work hard to stay away from honest work. I find it strange that if they would funnel those energies in to honest wrok, We wouldn't have the problem we have today. But then look at our political arena. They work hard to disrespect the other partyinstead of working together. Sp what can we expect, a dishonest society.

I'm not sure if it's a sign of our times or if it's just because there are more of us but down in this neck of the woods we've had two or three similiar thefts of non-profit organization fund raising funds being stolen over the past 6-months or so. The beautiful thing about these thefts is that the dummies did it in full view of a security camera and once they made the six-o'clock news friends and family members turned them in! I guess that for every crook there is an honest man/woman!
