| | Life is funny, prayers please I had to make an emergency trip to Joplin MO Yesterday. My dad went in for a routine cathater check only to find major problems. This morning they did a quadruple bypass, he is in critical care recovering but he is doing well so far. Please pray for him and my family this has been very hard.
My dad is my hero and my inspiration. A gentleman yet a real man! My father in heaven is my hope and my God. I know he cares for us and will show us grace in this time.
Your support and prayers mean more than anything else....

| | Re: Life is funny, prayers please Praying here too. A few years ago my dad who was fine & fit as a fiddle (one of the strongest constitutions I know of and very active physically) . . . had an attack of Acute Pancreatitus that the Drs were amazed he survided. One minute he's fine, the next he's doubled over in agony and passing out. Very scary!!! Six months later after being in ICU for 3 mos, and PT for 3 more he was very thin and frail. He's now pretty much recovered but still quite think and battling diabetes. But he's still with us and going fairly strong.
I am sure your dad will pull through. He, you, and your family will be in my prayers.
