If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert , in five years there'd be a shortage of sand.

HA, Jim pays not to listen in to your spouses conversations to much, especially at Christmas time. Drop those suttle little hints, leave catalogs and magazines laying around with big black letters and circle the item/items 'you want this really, really bad.' make it easy for her.
Merry Christmas and I hope santa puts tools under the tree for you.

Jim .. Dont let it worry you .. Just act like you are still surprised ..

Just like my wife did when I bought her that new Band Saw for christmas .. All except hers was for real !

Since then she gladly accepts the money to buy her own gift now ..

What can you say ?

Gene

jim,

you can always take the dinghy and float around the pond and carve nice and peaceful, but jim i hate to say this i dont think she was referrring to the boat lolololol, wives have no appreciation for such fine gifts as bandsaws and knives and wood, cant figure out what they see in them frilly thingies.

Have you done any shopping lately? Lots of them seem to have a little "ringhy dinghy" outside the entrance.
