Does anyone have the dates for the Kansas City area woodcarving show that's held at John Knox Village in Lees Summit in March? I can't find them posted anywhere and I need to make some travel plans --around the show, naturally! Donna T

Donna. I believe it's the third weekend of March. I plan on being there. Had hoped to make the Mesa, AZ show but had to cancel out due to the problems around here. Look forward to seeing you there.

Thanks Lynn. I was about ready to pm you because I knew you were there last year. Unfortunately if it's the 16th and 17th, I may not be back in time. I wanted to enter a couple of carvings for the first time--usually just go and visit and look around, but if I'm not here, it may not happen. I'll check the itenary again. Thanks for your help. Donna.....Just got off my duff and check the dates...It's March 23 & 24. Sure hope you can make it. It's a real nice show. I'm planning a "Take No Prisoners" campaign in the caricature catagories. It's going to be fun!!

Lynn, AWESOME!! That will be perfect. And trust me, I wouldn't consider entering anything in caricatures. Might be a bird and a santa--maybe animal. The bird needs to be mounted and the animal needs burned and painted....oh the pressure!! Thanks for checking. Now I can order my tickets tonight before the cost goes up again. Hope you're surviving the ice and snow. After 4" sleet/ice, we got 6" snow last night. That's more than we usually have all winter! Sure was pretty but finally, we're going back to school tomorrow! I'll try to catch you on Saturday of the KC show--I saw you there last year but you were talking to someone on my first trip through, and away from your table on my second trip. I spend about as much time talking to carving friends as I do looking at carvings. I've never entered anything so I'll have to figure out how to do that. See ya! Donna T
