Default Just a reminder

Hello,
Just a reminder to all who live within driving distance of Hudson, Florida...
The 28th Annual Calusa Wood Carvers Club, show and sale is this weekend,
Feb 28th and March 1st.

Veterans Memorial Park at 14333 Hicks Road, Hudson, FL 34669.
Sat 10am to 4pm Sun 10am to 3pm.

It's always been a great show, with lots of really good carvers showing their work and lots of great vendors with tools and supplies. Usually a lot of wood for sale also. Depending on how my dad is doing, I plan to be there with a few things. Not as many as I had hoped but life sort of interfered with my carving time the last few weeks....

Hope to see you there.

Oh Deborah! You mean that you and I will be living within driving distance in the Winters???? That is such good news. Two years seems like an eternity but I am looking forward to it. We WILL get together and carve!!! I can't wait.

Hey Susan, YES, hubby says we're definitely doing it! I joked when we were down there I had two years to convince him to do it. Didn't take that long, we got home Wednesday, to snow and cold, and he got called out Friday morning at 3:00 AM and had to work both Saturday and Sunday out in the cold.....that did it!! He said we are not spending our winters north once he retires! I'M THRILLED!!!

I can't wait, we will have a ball!!! Deborah

Yes!!!! I love it! Deborah, we will have to carve together often and.....maybe even make a little trip north to visit Charlotte. Charlotte, dear, could you handle both of us heading up your way???

Now if we could only get Nancy G to move down this way......wouldn't that be awesome????

I second Nancy G, Lynn, if you can stand to be around a bunch of certifiably nutty women, come on...... I know we could learn a thing or two from you and I would love to see your version of old St. Nick.....

Susan, carving together and a trip to see Charlotte, how great would that be?!!!! Lynn, you're welcome even if you don't carve Santas, but considering the wonderful carvings you come up with, I'd love to see what you'd do with the old boy! I can almost see it, Santa and some very, very mischievous elves!!!

Nancy, you scheming shameless hussy, yes, Ben will be along but he'll be on a VERY, VERY short leash!!!! Deborah
