| | Re: Just one of those day's!! Ron..... we all have those days! I am sorry to hear that Kansas has their share of fools like those two. The good news is....it wasn't all bad! The traffic department actually e-mailed and informed you about the crosswalk, and that they actually installed it in the first place! It wasn't snowing, so the young lad wasn't riding a skidoo, now that would hurt! The rude driver, well I'm sure that around some corner, waiting for him some day is an experience just waiting to happen and he'll be the loser of that encounter! Keep on carving my friend, there are more positive experiences in life, than the negative ones! Don't let them get you down! Bob |

| | Re: Just one of those day's!! Well I fooled them this morning I went for my walk earlier. The good news is that you were right there are alot of good people out there. I received a phone call from the police dept yesterday afternoon. It seems that there was a lady in a car behind this idiot and she heard him cussing me. She copied the tag no. and called it in as road rage. The officer said this guy had no insurance and was driving on a suspended lic. so he got a ride to jail. He asked me if I wanted to press harrassment charges. I said you bet your a** I would. I plan on being there when the judge rips him a new one. So today is a wonderful day. Hope everyone has one. | | Re: Just one of those day's!! I always live by the "What Comes Around, Goes Around" motto and it looks like that jerk got his coming-up'ins!! So glad to hear it too because you know if he treated you like this, he treats everyone that way. As for the skateboarder, maybe he'll fall off it and get some sense knocked into him! If not.....what comes around, goes around!! Go get 'em Ron! |

Personally, I live by the " Do on to others as you would have them do on to you"!
Works most of the time. |

| | Re: Just one of those day's!! Hey Ron, Made me hurt for you.I notice lots of times manners are lost, but today, my wife and I were in Branson, mo and went to enter a resturant, I held the door for a couple of young men, maybe 16. One would not enter, he went behind me and wanted the door handle, he said, NO Sir, not before you. I thanked him and was sure impressed. Now that reminds me of a couple of years ago, a man opened to door for a woman in Branson, she said " you don't have to oped the door because I'm a woman." He said "mam, I didn't do it because you're lady, I did it because I'm a gentleman." |

| | Re: Just one of those day's!! Ron, the good news is that he was caught, the better news is that you are willing to take the time to appear in court. There are a lot of cases that appear before judges which involve the violations you noted. This leads to the possibility that a "standard" sentence will be meted out to the violater. Your being there and explaining what happened, in your case, will certainly emphasize the seriousness of an idiot like this being on the road in the first place. This might insure the judge puts him where he won't be driving.
Now, if that dad burn skateboarder just did not have a license................... |

As to the skateboarder, it is a well known fact they have no brains whatsoever. Kind of like teenagers in general. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
