| | Java scripting for warding off spam Sorry guys, I kept forgetting to get this posted. It won't stop the spam you are already getting unless you change your email address, but it will stop any new spammers from getting you. Also, it needs to be in a separate cell from other text or it will change your existing (font). 1st change my email to yours in the code. Then copy and paste the code here ever you want your email address to show up on your website. NOTE: you do this at your own risk - be sure you know how to manipulate your html code in your site. I don't want anyone getting teed off at me if they mess up.
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
var name = "info";
var domain = " nwiley@sculptinwood.com";
document.write('<a href=\"mailto:' + name + '@' + domain + '\">');
document.write(name + '@' + domain + '');
// -->
</script>

| | Re: Java scripting for warding off spam Dave, This code keeps your website from getting any spam Not your Netscape, Outlook express,Mozilla Firefox,Thunderbird e mail on your PC.
However, most ISPs provide spam blockers and anyi virus programs with their e-mail packages, Anyway, The one we have does, but I had already loaed a spam blocker,Spyware and Anti virus programs on our network. To bad, it would have saved me some money to buy tools. |
