I have a book of Japanese patterns that was published by some monks. All the patterns are of Bhuddistic gods.
If interested, I can give you a list of the contents

That's probably from the same pattern...a happy buddah holding a fish.
I did one of these several years ago for a friend in Japan

What is this book called? Sounds great! Thank you for posting the pics - I love them!
In particular I am looking for a kunoichi
with her sword. Ever seen one?

Hello Keoma,
if you do the google or google image search for kunoichi
Kunoichi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

you will find the images you seek.

If you are looking specifically for Kunoichis (female assasins) You could always go to the public library and check out some of the books there. Most libraries offer copier services.
I don't know if they'd have the pictures you want but check out books by Stephen Hayes or Masaki Hatsumi. Not real sure if they went in depth on the female roles the art.
