Default idaho- blessing or ????

I will be offline until Friday or maybe more. This morning my son, in California, was in an accident. Doing about 80 on a motorcycle, no helmet. Had a head-on with a car and went through the windshield. He is in critical condition. I inquired about those in the car but Couldn't get any information. Any, I am flying out early in the morning.

I love Idaho, but seems I have had nothing but bad luck so far. I came here last July to check the place out and our place in CA went up in flames. Since I've been here I've had nothing but physical problems. Dr. bills, then the dentist yanked out all my teeth, all this costs big bucks. Then dentures don't fit (but finally got that one pretty much squared away, I hope. My 86 yr. old mother was in the hospital 2 weeks ago, in MA. Wants me to come visit. Now this. We have a fixed/limited income (what we can count on because hubby is on disability).

My son comes first and I am not complaining because I have to go there. But all this stuff sure makes one wonder. Have i been such a terrible person, is Idaho bad luck, or is it just the "sceme of things) for now? None of that matters as long as he comes out of this okay. Guess I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself and have been walking around in circles all day. Just needed to dump. thanks, yet again

Nancy,
Truely sorry to hear about your son, Theresa & I will be pulling for him.

As far as Idaho being bad luck, I really don't know.
I had two friends move there and both passed away in less than two years.

To me, it seems your real problem is with California not Idaho.

Wishing you our best, Rick

Oh Nancy - that is horrible news. I am so sorry and will be praying for him, you, and all involved. I am sure that none of this has anything to do with Idaho, but it must feel that way given your recent events. I remember hearing a motivational speaker by the name of Ron Brown speak many years ago, and he always used to talk about "life" not caring whether you are down or not, it'll still kick ya in the pants. You just have to face it and make the best choices you can and take actions that will hopefully improve things.

Prayers and blessings coming your way!

Thanks everyone. Doing a last email check, then get ready to head to the airport. If I get access to a computer I will check in and update you. I know Idaho is not the problem, I'm just having a bad streak, but dang . . .a years worth is more than enough!
