Default Help for a computer program

I'm not good at transferring flat patterns to "in the round". I'm looking for a computer program that will take a scanned image and rotate it into a 3 dimensional image that I could print out.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA

Nope! But if you can find such a program let us know where cause the Fountain of Youth and the Rainbows pot of gold must be close by .

I agree with Lynn - there may be a high-end CAD program out there that only major corporations can afford, but I doubt there's anything for the rest of us.

A good example of how to do it is Gene Messer's latest video on YouTube: YouTube - Carving The Caricature Fisherman Part 1

He starts with a blank he has cut on a bandsaw. He shows you the drawing he used - a front view and a side view, and how it looks after it's cut out. Watch the entire series of videos; it's practically guaranteed to help.

Here's another, even simpler one, that he cuts out only the side view on a bandsaw - everything else is done with the knife. YouTube - CARVING A BIG HEAD FLAT PLANE SANTA PART 1

Hello Rob, not sure if this will hit the spot but it might. I know it makes 3d animations to build stuff, but not sure if you can add a scanned image into it. It also has a library of images that users uploaded so maybe it will take a scanned image. good luck..
Here is the link>>> Google SketchUp

Mudbone,
Not sure if SketchUp will work for this application, but I see where it could be used for many others. Thank you for sharing.
