Default About Hef

Well, looks like these emails are the only satisfaction I am going to get out of 5 or so months of working on the "blockhead"!

Yesterday:
I will take it tomorrow on my lunch hour but even after I do may not hear back anything for a while. Hef's funny about gifts and doesn't always say how he feels. I will poke around but not until a few days afterwards. I was swamped today, m y first day back and my boss had me going all day. Tomorrow she's off and I'll run it by then.
Sorry and as soon as I hear anything will email you.
Thanks again for your hard work, friendship and for your wonderful talent!!!
XO!!
Barbara

Today:
Hi Nancy!
I took Hef's bust at lunch time and just got a nice note back from him.
It says "Thank you for the remarkable sculpture. It was a very sweet thought" Love, Hef.
I think I told he says very little about anything and don't know where it will end up. I'll give it some time then ask one of the women @ the Mansion where it ended up and hope they know. They still do not know where he put the painting I had done on him (ha) but he did use the painting in his PB Jazz Festival catalog.
Thanks again for your hard work and hope to meet you one day.
Take care,
Barbara xo..

Nancy......I really wouldn't feel too bad. Was it a commission and did you get paid? Guess the guy has to many other diversions that prevent him from appreciating something good and lasting!

Checked out your new website project. Nice! Hope it works out. Keep us posted about when it's up and running full out!!
