Navy here also and a Vietnam Vet. Best wishes to all our Vets out there. I ran across a guy not log ago that was a little bashful about his service time. He said that what he did wasn't all that important. I hope that after talking to him he felt a little different. As far as I'm concerned no one who has served in the military has anything to be bashful about. Like the man said, "ALL GAVE SOME....SOME GAVE ALL!" Semper Fi Dave!

It's been a good weekend. Veteran's Day to all the other Veterans out there. I first served in the Navy in the Viet Nam war in 1966 and last served there in 1975 the day Saigon fell. The other events this weekend that made it good were the Marine Corps Birthday on Saturday, which also happens to be my birthday. I even managed to spend one year of my Navy time at a Marine Corps command!

I'm not a Veteran but I feel very strongly that we should all take a moment today and everyday to give thanks for the job they do. To all of you who are veterans, you have my deepest thanks for serving our country. To the ones who are currently serving in our military, may God bless you and your families and thank you for your service also.
