Default Great book you may enjoy.

Was finally to a city with a Chapters store this week, to spend a Gift Card that my daughter had given me. I browsed to my hearts content while my wife had her hair done.

I finally settled on amfew books, one you my be interested in: 400 Wood Boxes , by Lark Books, ISBN 13: 978-1-57990-459-3

It is an interesting look into some beautiful works of art and craftsmanship, using any number of types of wood and styles. Absolutly inspiring!!! I can't wait to get started on a box I had planned to hold my newly made detailing knives. Finding this book was very timely, and so will the other companion book that I ordered at the local bookstore here near home. It is the mate to it, only on the various ways of making boxes. Can't wait to recieve it and try some of the methods. (Another Gift Card too..., so it's a free'bee)

I also picked up some beautiful wood while in the city, unfortunately no Butternut, but still managed to spend $150 on Lacewood, Walnut and some great looking Cherry. Oh I love the lumber store!!!

Bob

I'd love to have a lumber store that carried such woods. Here, if it isn't pine or fir, they don't know what the heck I'm talking about.

Gonna check that book out.
