Default Good old crazy glue

Well I just gashed myself pretty good on the side of my index finger. No serious damge but lots of blood and after cleaning my skin well enough.
I used my cyanoacylate glue to bond the cut.
I was wearing a glove but it was a opposite cut.
Maybe I need to wear a glove on both hands
It has been a long time since I have sliced myself I think I got a little lazy.

Easy to do, welcome to the club. I believe most carvers have experienced that feeling, at least once! Some more than others!

Ouch, been there, done that (isn't super glue great stuff?!)! I always preach safety glove and thumb guard, know what I don't do most of the time....wear shoes...I'm a country girl, bare feet are the most comfortable, I have had to jump back quickly more than once to avoid a dropped tool! Sure hope I don't have to admit someday that I learned the hard way to wear my 'safety shoes' too!!

I hope you heal up quickly! Deborah

Oh Deborah! How I wish you had posted that to my thread!!!!!!

My grandmother, a wonderful prim and proper lady, was an avid quilter. Her one quilting injury came one evening when she sat down on her couch and "discovered" where she had lost her scissors .... I think after reading your posting she would advice quilters to wear leather britches.

Never heard of a carver yet that hasn't cut themselves at least once. By the way, super glue was first designed for medics in Vietnam to close wounds.

Even if there was, it just adds character.
