| | Gonna be gone My friends, I will be gone from the list until March 11th.
Actually, may be here for a short time in the morning; (departure determined by getting the RV ready). I will be heading to Branson for the spring seminar (Silver Dollar City and Ozark Mountain Woodcarvers). Since it is only 45 miles away (test run for a de-winterzed RV), this makes a good start for the RV season and officially starts woodcarving for the new year.
This year we have 35 instructors and (the last I heard) 330 students (down from the 400+ of previous years). I will be studying with Vickie Branson and, once again, venturing beyond birds with my carving effort.
For those of you within driving distance, come on down and visit. Most of the instructors bring extra roughouts/blanks and mid-week Dale Heinecke will be here with a load of that wonderful Wisconsin basswood.
I am looking forward to a great week of woodcarving, renewing friendships, and a break from house building. |

| | Re: Gonna be gone I envy you that! My RV is a "home boy", it just wants to return to the barn when it gets more than a 100 miles from home LOL |

Enjoy!!

| | Re: Gonna be gone I would "suggest" that you have fun, but I realize that would not be necessary. No way NOT to have fun. I agree with Michael -> we'll need pictures! |
