Default Go on vacation and look what happens.

Hi folks,

Just arrived back from a short vacation and trying to get caught up. E-mail full of spam (295 out of 335 messages) and you lot have been chatty! Four pages of activity, 120 threads to catch up on! Rested all day yesterday, and will most of today, (I don't travel well anymore) but had a great time ......... visit with family and attended Mahone Bay Wooden Boat Festival, all in Nova Scotia.

Missed my daily fix of WCI message board, so you'll have to bring anything that I should know to my attention! I'll never get through all those threads!!! Good to be back, I missed you all!

And , yes, I got to do some carving while I was away, sitting watching the sun come up on their deck or as we chatted away after dinner. An eagle bust and half way through a larger Peter Rabbit for my niece who is expecting her first baby.

Oh yes ....... I also stopped in and picked up some great wood at the East Coast Hardwood Specialty store in Halifax, enough to keep me busy for a year or three.

Bob

Glad you made it back Bob. It's always nice to get away for a short time. But hard to get caught up. Welcome home!

Welcome back Bob. Glad to hear you had a nice trip. I've always wanted to visit and wander around the maritime provinces. Gotta make it up there one of these years.

Glad to see you're back.
