Default Friday

the 13th!

I'm staying home today. I'm going to sit on my hands in my favourite chair with a stack of DVD's running through the player, and I ain't gonna move one inch all day.

I'm just a little superstitious...

Whitecree, I know what you mean.
Just got the cellphone bill, 200 plus dollars, the yellow lab puppy decided that big black mud puddle looked pretty interesting, the black lab decided to go for a roll in the grass and bring in half the yard with her, and the collie thoght the UPS truck looked like it would be fun to chase.
It truly is Friday the 13th.
BTW at this moment the yellow lab isnt yellow, but you probably figured that out.

Whitecree....You're so so lucky! Sometimes I wonder how I got everything done that had to be done when I was still working. Just doesn't seem to be enough hours in a week anymore.... Always running around like a scared rabbit! "I'm late...I'm late...for a very important date!"

Damm Friday the 13th, I should have stayed in bed! Snowstorm to start with, then nothing goes as planned, some of my craving group guys over to help in the basement and nothing goes right ....... drilling masionary bits to secure fome floor trim to hold down some curling up flooring, damm bits worth nothing, screws wouldn't hold, phone keeps ringing, wife off for some appointment so up and down I keep going, then in the middle of it all, I have to go pick her up sooner than expected, all while babysitting my granddaughter who likes my attention too........overload! We also change around the layout of the carving areas in the basement, move our new bench, and a bunch of other stuff, lots of stuff, chaos, confusion.....and I don't handle confusion well.........but most of it is done, sat and said bugger it for a while, had a drink with the lads and finished off later. It was then that one of them told me it was Friday 13th! Good laugh had by all........at least I didn't stab myself! Finished okay, set up is better, I had new lighting installed where the table is now so everyone will have more light and more room. Was I glad to hit the bed last night! Of course before I could do that, granddaughter and Grammy made cupcakes and iced them, a good supper supper, and after Octavia's bath and into jammies, we have movie time ..... lights out, lots of popcorn, and "Mouse Hunt" to watch with her curled up with me.......then a bed time story and I tuck her in. Even on Friday 13th, it turns out well!

Bob

Sounds like a fun day, Bob. Really , mine was boring. Except for that Lemur I carved sometime back. Had him on top of the entertainment center thing and the cat knocked it off when he went slipping and sliding across. He's an 18 pound cat. Well the Lemur is now in 7 pieces.

I'm not superstitious, I just don't take chances
