The only problem for me are the pedals on the forward vehicle and hills where I live. |

| | Re: Freedom! (with pics) I think we'll see a lot more of these if gas prices keep rising........200+ inches of snow around here in the winter kinda puts a damper on that mode of transportation, though.

| | Re: Freedom! (with pics) Great lookin rig! But I don't think it's for me. All you younger folks need to take heed though. You all save the gasoline for us older guys who need it more. Once not too long ago decided to ride a bike to town (only 6 miles - one way). Had a choice to make after getting there. Call the squad, or call my wife to come take me and the bike home....

| | Re: Freedom! (with pics) Just been out on a test ride, went to Wellingborough (5 miles away, by dual carriageway). With no load you only know it's there because of the rattling and clatering as my locks bounced around inside No affect on handling whatsoever. Slightly slower pulling away but that's it. Much the same when loaded, it was more of a drag and accelerating away from lights etc was harder but overall nothing you wouldn't expect from towing a trailer. At worst, when the trailer was bouncing around on a rough patch, it felt like someone had a bungee on me - there was a feeling of elasticity to the acceleration. Steering and braking didn't seem affected.
All in all I think this is one of the better purchases I've made
Oh and Tom, I turned 38 on Sunday so if I can't be classed as one of the 'us older guys' I'm certainly not 'younger folk'!

| | Re: Freedom! (with pics) Grimnir,
Glad it's workin out for you. But at 38 years old I'd run to town and back. With a rest on a park bench to whittle a while.

| | Re: Freedom! (with pics) great idea,
but wouldn't work here, you would be lucky to have a lock if you left that rig unattended,
although its kinda flat here bout 20 miles between hills and bout 20 dogs per block.... |
