Smile Found our New Home

Hi everyone!

I just would like to share my excitement with you. My mom and I went out to the Sunshine Coast of BC and we bought our new home. We will have a wonderful view of the ocean and is only 1/2 a block to it. We will be full moved in by mid-July.

So if I'm not around a bunch before then you'll know that I'm probably packing unless the specialist tell me my foot has to be operated on next week. I'm really hoping that the bone has healed so I can just move on with my life and not worry about it anymore.

Okay- that enough sad sack stuff. I would like to share a couple of pictures with you from our new home by the sea.

Lindy

Wow! Nice. Best of luck on the foot. I can however imagine you sitting on a lounge chair sipping ice tea, foot up recovering while gazing at the sea.

Can't think of a better place to recover. I see there is already a clamp on the railing to hold your work.

Hi Lindy I was thinking about you the other day wondering how you were doing, and if that foot was healing up ok.

What a beautiful place to sit and gaze over the water. I know that would become my favorite spot. Is that lawn down below part of your property?

Marcia.

Dear Lindy, Congratulations on your new home. I miss the ocean, which I traded for the high desert of Arizona. sigh...
Hey you'll be able to get drift wood off the beach for carving.
Sorry to hear about your foot, yikkes packing, moving urgh...but once your all settled in everything else will be just a memory. Love your view!
Let us know how you are doing.
Kathy

Thanks everyone.

Marcia - thank you for thinking of me, I'll know more later this week after I see the specialist.

Hi Kathy - oh yeah lots of gorgeous driftwood. Plus the art gallery in Lund wants to carry my work so it looks good. The artist at that gallery does the most amazing soap sculptures so I'm really excited that she wants my stuff. We went in because I wanted Mom to see this gallery and she noticed my purse and wanted to know more. So once we get settled then I'm to go in and set up my being in the gallery.

Regards,
Lindy

Congratulations. The area looks great, should be inspiring. Enjoy your experience on the Left Coast and keep us posted with pics of your new area as you discover it.
