OK, ya'll can make fun of my sentiments but if you want to make a comparison of this board to another carving board, go to www.thecarvingpath.net . Some very arrogant people on that board. I'll stay here, thanks.

Capt. Bandaid,
I read that forum also, not as much as this one, and you're right. Some of them think a lot of themselves and aren't ashamed to tell anybody, they could use a little bit of humility, but there are also some good folks there. It is an interesting forum though and good talent from all over the world. As usual, you have to ingnore those that bug you and consider the source.

HappyYup! Only us good looking peoples can get along.

On the serious side,I noticed that Captain Bandaid. Funny how I was just in the shadows seeing what people had to say, because like you said there are lot of people in other forums that are just plain mean and have oversized egos that need to get fed.

The other thing is you can pm folks here for information and they are very generous to share it. I really believe by joining this forum it has helped my carving.
Thanks for running this thread
Mel

Well, I'll take a look at that 'site, just for fun. I haven't had a good arguement for ages, it seems, maybe I can find one there, eh?

On many forums, the mods allow a certain amount of political/religious/economic topis that rapidly degenerate into mud-slinging contests.

I'll be the first to admit I enjoy a good arguement, but most people seem to think arguing means calling names and slandering. Children, these days...
