It's o.k. now... The wind is still pretty brisk but their were many fire trucks out here and seem to have it out.. We all had a big scare because it is so very dry and windy . I thank the Lord for his protection and your prayers..I will leave my things like they are just in case I had to make a run in the night..One good thing is the important things are in the bank safe.. Just those pictures and wonderful memories we want to save.. Charlotte

Charlotte I do hope you're alright. Maybe the big plan is to have a fire break between you and that monster! I do hope this one that they hopefully have under control now will act to protect you if that other one gets closer.

Glad to hear that you're ready to evacuate if you need to. I'm also glad that you have family nearby that will help you through this. I hope you'll all stay safe and clear of the fires.
Christina

Thanks Christina.. and Tom .. so far things are quite..Sense the Monster Fire they have routed the trains by this way and it's one train after another. The last few days hasn't had as many..but it's the trains that are starting the fires on the tracks.. There has been two small ones that were put out pretty quick but this was a big one and burning fast.. I was calm though and thought of loosing our Sweetwater . It's strange what you don't think of when you have to grab things in a hurry.. You can't take but very little with you and they had incoming traffic blocked on our road .. My neighbor who is my granddaughters Grandfather got his big tractor out and cut behind her home and my Grandson Jacob's home.. Mine was cut a week ago.. I hope the wind is calm tomorrow.. Thank you for your prayers..I don't see any chance of rain in sight until the week end.. and that will be a miracle.. Charlotte

That's a heck of a thing to have to go through Charlotte. Been through it ourselves and know what it feels like. Our daughter was only seven when we went through a similar thing and she still has nightmares of the flames. Forest fire can be a scary thing.

Our thoughts are with you my dear. Don't worry about "things", just get yourself and your family out, "things" can be replaced.

Bob
