Default Finally made it back!!!

Hi Everyone I finally made it back from guide dog school. I would pick a time to go to New York when it was a hundred degrees almost all the time. Had a great time and worked from 6 am to 8pm six days a week. It was a real hard school but well worth it. I have attached a picture of me and my dog this was taken two days after I got there that's when we got them. His name is Lawerance but they called him big Lou he is almost 2 and weighs 75 pounds. I will try and send a better picture when I get unpacked. I just wanted to let you know I was back.
Ron

Ron - It's very nice to know you're back and doing well.

Big Lou looks like a fine dog and I bet you two have a grand relationship .
Best wishes and high hopes.

Hi Ron

Glad to see you made it out of NYC all right. You're right--you couldn't have picked a "better" time to go the hell hole--what I call it when the weather seems like it and the city does too. But usually the people are half way decent about it unless you were in Queens and didn't have any power for 10 days. Then they might get a little "touchy" about things!

Big Lou looks great. My brother had a black lab until earlier this year--he was about 14 years old, and it was time for him to go. He went in his sleep. But he was a fun dog. Everytime I went over there, Bruiser would come over sit down behind my arm, and stick his nose and muzzle up under my arm and start nudging me. "HEY YOU! I'm here! Now scratch my ears, and my neck under my collar like you always do!" And he wouldn't leave me alone until I did! Boy, I sure miss the "little" fella!

Well, good luck with your new friend, and make sure he learns the carving tools are for your wood, and not his bones!

Good to see you back Ron, and say hello to Lou for me. He's a nice looking Lab, and I'm sure the two of you shall become great friends over the years.

Hi Ron,
Nice to have you back my friend. Looks like you survived the big apple ok and I just love your new companion. I have one that looks exactly like him I will send you a picture of Midnight my 118 lb black lab when I take one. You were certainly missed and so were your carvings. Again welcome back Colin
