Dan - We have just been travelling south from Pennsylvania. The fall color was especially wonderful along the Blue Ridge Parkway: color 003.jpg color 002.jpg color 007.jpg |

You guys have some beautiful foliage back in your states. It's green here all year round. A few native trees loose their leaves and they are usually yellow. Inland from here there's more trees that turn color and loose their leaves, but nothing like back east. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Maybe later I'll post some pictures of green trees! LOL

Nice pics everyone! You all must have had some prime conditions for fall colors. Down in south east Tennessee the fall foilage wasn't nearly as nice this year. The yellow poplar and sweetgum just turned brown and the leaves fell off early, and the colors weren't as nearly as vibrant on the other trees as they usually are. It was just too dry this summer. In fact, I lost a big oak out in front of the cabin.

Dan, I always enjoy seeing your beautiful summer garden pictures and the fall foilage is just as beautiful. Hard to believe that you are just a little over 3 hours away and there is that much difference in the foilage.Alot of our leaves fell early prior to turning around here. Thanks for sharing. Mark |
