Default ebay false postings?

Anyone know anything about ebay and how to get hold of them? I have 6 items listed on "my ebay" that I am supposedly selling....I am not! They have my username up, but at the bottom it says "no bids, contact such and such email" This is some kind of scam but not sure who to report it to?

I have sent false Ebay emails I received to:
spoof@ebay.com

That site will check those phony emails that appear to be from ebay, really are spammers attempting to get account numbers. I don't know if its the correct site , but you should immediatly change your password, then remove those false items. Its likely someone has a false pay-pal account and will attempt to collect money. Also change your paypal password !

I checked your listings from my end and only see the 1 Uncle Sam.... did you get this in email or do you really see it on myebay? Might be a phishing email... change your password ASAP before they hack your account.

Then forward that email to ebay.

Hey David,
It sounds like your account has been hi-jacked!

Here's a post from Ebay's help board which should assist you.

If your eBay account has been hacked into and taken over by someone else, go here NOW !!:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/isgw-account-theft-reporting.html
There is also a Live Help button there if you need assistance from eBay.
**Note: The Account Takeover Live Help is closed on weekends.
*During weekends, use the Live Help chatbox on eBay Home page in the upper right hand corner under the Java/Sun logo.
It is a pop-up window, so if you run a pop-up stopper or an ad-blocker program, you will need to disable it to use the chat
window.

Good luck!
Greg

Dave,

Whatever link you are going to might not be an official EBay link. Look at the URL and does it start with http://my.ebay.com/ws/...

If not then it is a false link and if you entered your name and password... then that Phisher got your info. Does your Uncle Sam show up in that list? Because when I go to view your listings from a customer side I seriously only see your 1 carving.

Again, don't click that link.... clear all your browsing history, cache, temporary files....

Then type in ebay.com and login from there and see if you see a different myebay list?? If so... change paypal and ebay passwords... and if this all came from some email you got please forward it to ebay....

From my end it still looks like your account is fine... but one day they will decide to mess with ya....

Sean

I didn't get an email and they didn't get into my account...they used my username to try to sell somethings, but the tell, was that they didn't want bids, they wanted people to contact them...they do this so the poor sucker whose username they use has to pay the ebay costs......ebay took care of it, removed the items and is investigating them, and I have changed my password and my email....so lucked out I guess if you can call 3/4 hours of screwing with this "lucky"! I would personally like to get hold of these lying thieving scum!!

You know, There are peole out there who works hard at getting out of work, meaning they want the Bucks but don't want to work for them. Lousy scumbags.

Glad you got it taken care of but the damage has been done, they used your name.

Glad you got it taken care of Dave, Darlene and I had the same thing one time. Darlene had listed something and they jumped in and all at once were selling a bunch of phones. Also contacted ebay and they told us to change name and password etc. So looks like you are on the ball and have it taken care of. Lots of lousy people out there.
