 Re: Dream Vacation Over Yep, Crazy Horse monument isn't funded by the government but private fundings and what they take in with the tours and such. They have an Indian College there also. Walls was a fun place and the Bad Lands was interesting as some of it is on the Pine indian Reservation. Wasn't allow to venture to far in to the reservation. Terry the carving museum must have changed as it was a nice place to visit the first time w were there in '91. Shame for sure. Interesting that you can put the Mount Rushmore heads under the arm of Crazy horse. Love the lodge pole pines there also.
