Default To do list

1. buy some more tools
2. Make something to store new tools
3. Learn to sharpen new tools
4. Find some old razor blades
5. Make a knife with old razor blade
6. Buy some painting supplies
7. Learn to paint
8. Buy the wife a nice present so she doesn't kill me for spending so much time and money on my new hobby.
9. Memorize some names from this site so I can blame them for all the idea's they keep giving me!
10. O yea and carve.

You might want to add "Buy some wood" to your list. If you start practicing on your woodwork and furniture, you'll be directed to a new hobby in a heartbeat.

Maybe not. We have this old pine kitchen table the wife keeps bugging me to carve something on.

But I like your list. Clearly stated at #1 "buy more tools"

I agree Bob my list is like that but the "Honey Do" list of hers isnt anything like that I just keep putting it off though and working on mine.

My wife leaves me a list that says "Do this, or else!"
